Strengthening European Neurosurgical Collaboration at DGNC 2026
The Société Neurochirurgicale Clinique & Scientifique du Luxembourg is pleased to announce its active participation in the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Neurochirurgie (DGNC), organised in collaboration with the Société Belge de Neurochirurgie and the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Neurochirurgie.
Our society is involved in the scientific co-organization of this major European neurosurgical event, which brings together international experts each year to discuss clinical, technological, and academic advances in the field.
Luxembourg Scientific Contribution
Several members of our society will contribute to the congress through various scientific presentations. Some will present posters covering topics such as:
functional neurosurgery
spinal disorders
neuro-oncology
technical innovations, and operative strategies
The Société Neurochirurgicale Clinique & Scientifique du Luxembourg will also be represented during key institutional moments of the congress. Some of our members will have the honor of delivering a welcome address, jointly with the presidents of the German, Belgian, and Dutch neurosurgical societies. Luxembourg participation is also planned within two plenary sessions, highlighting the growing role of Luxembourg in European neurosurgical scientific exchange.
Strengthening European Collaboration
This involvement reflects the academic commitment of the Luxembourg neurosurgical community and its willingness to actively contribute to cross-border collaboration.
The scientific co-organization of the DGNC Annual Meeting, together with the active scientific presence of our members, clearly illustrates:
the strengthening of cross-border collaborations;
the further integration of Luxembourg into European academic and scientific networks;
the promotion of high standards in neurosurgical research, education, and clinical practice.
Through its participation in the DGNC Annual Meeting 2026, the Société Neurochirurgicale Clinique & Scientifique du Luxembourg continues its commitment to scientific excellence, international dialogue, and the development of neurosurgery at the European level.
